philosophy art craft and science
For me it is easy to describe in words what the meanings of art, craft, and science are. However Philosophy poses its own unique question. i understand the question "what is philosophy" can rarely be answered, if this is true than how can we know what it categorizes. durring my own research of this topic i came to the realization, that philosophy can be described as everything!. philosophy deals with the mind and ones own unique way of thinking, its the study of understanding, the realization obtained by applying beliefs to the observation of an understanding. Now does this mean that philosophy covers everything that science, craft, and art do not?

Your definition of philosophy here, "the study of understanding, the realization obtained by applying beliefs to the observation of an understanding", really plumbs to the heart of the matter. The business of philosophy is internal to the mind, whatever material from the external world may be used analogically: the analogies are formed IN the mind.
